Colorado Division of Securities increasing licensing fees
The Colorado Division of Securities is raising licensing fees, which it said in a news release it must do to comply with statutory requirements requiring it to maintain sufficient revenue.
Beginning on Nov. 1, annual and renewal fees will be $20 for Colorado/FINRA sales representatives, mortgage sales representatives, SEC investment adviser representatives, and state-registered investment adviser representatives.
Annual and renewal fees will be $85 for a Colorado/FINRA broker-dealer, mortgage broker-dealers, SEC investment advisers and state-registered investment advisers.
A Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies news release announcing the fee increase did not clarify how much fees changed from previous levels, but that they remain some of the nation’s lowest.
