Both parents feel as if they were robbed of the life of their youngest child, Omar Williams. "He was a guy who would give you the shirt off his back," Hawkins said.

Police found two young men shot to death in a north Aurora alley in August. With over a month of investigation, detectives have exhausted all leads.
“All options are on the table. Right now, we’re really frustrated that we haven’t found the vehicle,” said Sgt. Jeff Longnecker with the Aurora Police Department.
Longnecker, along with the parents of one of the victims, held a news conference at the Aurora Police Department Headquarters on Wednesday. The parents of the victim “plead and beg” that anyone with information come forward.
Local firefighters responded to a call of an unresponsive man in an alley in the area of East 22nd Avenue and Galena Street on Aug. 19. Upon arrival, responders found the man dead.
Aurora police officers came to the scene around 7 a.m. and found another man dead a short distance down the alley. Investigators think the two men were shot to death early that same morning and their bodies discarded in the alley.
The victims were identified as 25-year-old Omar Williams and 27-year-old Kejuan Mays and the investigators determined the incident to be a double homicide.
“I feel robbed of a lifetime of success he was aiming for,” said Williams’ mother, Femina Hawkins.
Williams was said to have been on his way to completing a degree in computer science. His father, Antonio Hawkins, said that he was a straight-A student, had never been in a fight and hung out with people much older than him.
He said that every day the two would meet at home and “argue about who would get to pick his momma up from work… He was that type of person.”
Both victims were said to be friends.
Through footage, police were able to find the vehicle that had left Williams and Mays in the alley. The car was a 2016 Dodge Journey with a Colorado license plate number BSC-099. The vehicle belonged to Williams.
The two friends were last seen in downtown Denver around 2 a.m. Both of their phones were cut off and untraceable after that point, according to Longnecker.
The department noted they will be releasing the photos of the vehicles and victims in a news release. Anyone with information is asked to reach out to Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. There is currently a $2,000 reward for eligible information.
“The hardest part is not knowing exactly who or how this happened to my child, or for what reason,” Femina Hawkins said. “Please, please, if you have any information on this case, reach out to the Aurora Police Department.”
