Aurora police search for suspect in fatal alleyway stabbing

Aurora police are searching for a suspect involved in a stabbing that killed a man around noon Tuesday.

The stabbing took place around 11:46 a.m. in an alleyway near Hanover Street and 19th Avenue, according to an Aurora Police Department news release.

Police said officers responded to “a call of an altercation” in the area.

Officers arrived to find no suspect, but a man who died on-scene from multiple stab wounds, according to police.

Authorities couldn’t provide a suspect description. However, police said a dark colored vehicle was spotted in the area near when the stabbing occurred.
