Chiefs tie the game on a Kareem Hunt 2-yard TD. Score set up by a 61-yard pass from Mahomes

Jaleel McLaughlin scores from 4-yards out and the Broncos go up 13-6

Mahomes with a rare mistake and he throws a pick to Ja’Quan McMillian. Broncos take over deep in their own territory

Chiefs will begin the second half with the ball

Second quarter

Denver goes three-and-out and gives the ball back to the Chiefs with 27 seconds left in the first half

Broncos get to Mahomes for the first time with a sack by rookie Que Robinson and D.J. Jones

Denver gets one first down but that’s it. Denver will punt back to K.C.

Chiefs go on a 16-play drive that takes up over nine minutes but only come away with 3. Tie game a 6.

Broncos don’t do anything with the good field position and are forced to punt

Chiefs get one first down but Patrick Mahomes misses on three straight passes and Kansas City punts

Broncos had their best opening drive of the season but stalled inside the 10-yard line. Wil Lutz hits a 29-yard field goal. Broncos up 3-0
