Denver Summit FC schedule released for inaugural 2026 NWSL season

Now, it’s starting to feel real.

Denver Summit FC on Thursday announced its full schedule for its inaugural season in the National Women’s Soccer League, featuring 15 home matches across three venues.

Denver Summit will open its season with three straight road games, playing its first ever league match at Bay FC on Saturday, March 14 at 3:30 p.m.

Denver first professional women’s sports franchise will then travel to face Orlando Pride on March 20 and Gotham FC on March 25 before opening up their home slate against the Washington Spirit on March 28 and Empower Field at Mile High.

The club will play its first game at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on April 25 in a match against San Diego Wave FC.

The team plans to open its temporary Centennial Stadium in a July 3 match against Kansas City Current. That match could also mark the Summit debut of U.S. Women’s National Team captain Lindsey (Horan) Heaps, who plans to join the club in June.

Another U.S. Women’s National Team star from Colorado, Sophia (Smith) Wilson, could play her first NWSL game in her home state on July 18 when her Portland Thorns travel to Centennial Stadium to take on Denver Summit FC.

Mallory (Pugh) Swanson, another U.S. Women’s National Team star from Colorado, is scheduled to play her first NWSL game in her home state on Aug. 29 when her Chicago Stars travel to Centennial Stadium.

Denver will wrap up its season on its first ever “Decision Day” — the final game of the season when all teams across the league play simultaneously — on Nov. 1 at 5 p.m. against North Carolina Courage.

Most of Denver Summit FC’s games will be broadcast locally on Denver 7 (KMGH) and its sister station The Spot – Denver 3 (KRDO), excluding exclusive nationally televised matches.

No sale on BLM mineral lease highlights industry complaints of regulatory overload

The Bureau of Land Management received zero bids on more than 20,000 acres offered in an oil and gas lease sale in early January in Jackson, Moffat and Garfield counties.
