Teen dies after hit-and-run crash in Aurora
Talal Maaliki, 71, was arrested in connection to the crash at Colfax Avenue and Sable Boulevard that killed an 18-year-old man, Aurora police said.
AURORA, Colo. — An 18-year-old pedestrian died on Saturday after being injured in a hit-and-run crash.
The Aurora Police Department said on Sunday that the crash happened around 9 p.m. on Jan. 20 near the intersection of East Colfax Avenue and North Sable Boulevard.
The 18-year-old man was crossing north on Colfax against the traffic signal when he was hit by an SUV that left the scene, according to police. He died in the hospital Saturday.
