Denver police investigate homicide after man assaulted
Denver police are investigating the death of a man killed in an assault early Sunday morning as a homicide.
Just after 2 a.m., the police received a report of an assault in the 9700 block of East Hampton Avenue, said the Denver Police Department in a post on X.
The victim was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to the post.
The incident is being investigated as a homicide, and no arrests have been made, according to a DPD spokesperson on Monday.
The Denver Police Department asks anyone with information about the incident to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at (720) 913 7867.
