1 dead after auto-pedestrian crash in Westminster Friday

One person is dead after an auto-pedestrian crash in Westminster Friday morning.

Westminster Police first posted about the crash at the intersection of 96th Avenue and Federal Boulevard on social media just before 7:45 a.m. Friday. They noted in the post that all involved parties stayed on-scene and are cooperating with the investigation.

Authorities did not immediately respond to a request for more details about the crash, including which party was killed, if the pedestrian was in a crosswalk or whether speed or alcohol are considered contributing factors.

Federal Boulevard was closed in the southbound direction from 96th Avenue to Green Court while officials investigated the crash.
